Its Vectrue@ Technology incorporates three control modes in one single product: V/Hz, Sensorl-ess Vector and Closed Loop Vector selectable via parameter. Another highlight is the Optimal Braking@ feature, which allows extra braking torque and replaces Dynamic braking in several applications. Used to control and change speed of three phase squirrel cage motors, these units are applied in several industrial segments including: chemical and petrochemical plants, sugar and alcohol, pulp and paper, plastic and rubbers, iron and steel plants, cement, mining and refrigeration plants. They are micro-processed, fully digital, available with scale (constant V/F) or vector control technology, using IGBT transistor for high frequency switching.

They can be supplied either as spare or mounted in metal panels including protection, switching and signalling functions, with or without remote control and ready to operate.

Suitable for fans and exhausters, centrifugal and dosing pumps, stirrers, mixers, sugar centrifugal machines, conveyor belts, WEG soft starters are micro-processed, fully digital, designed to accelerate/decelerate and protect three phase squirrel cage electric motors. By adjusting the firing angle of tiristors, voltage applied to the motor can be controlled. With correct parameter adjustment, torque and current are adjusted to load requirements, that is, the current required will be the minimum required to accelerate the load, without frequency changes. These switches may be supplied as spare or mounted on panels, ready for use.
