Trading Terms and Conditions of Purchases

Effective as at January 2008

QUOTES AND ESTIMATES:

Written quotations are valid for 30 days. Verbal quotes expire the same day they were made. All typographical and clerical errors are subject to correction.

GST:

All products will attract GST at a current rate. GST will be shown as the amount on quotes/estimates and invoices.

TERMS OF PAYMENT:

For all account customers, having successfully completed an account application and granted an account, shall be as per the agreed credit terms. All other transactions are due on receipt or collection of goods and/or services.

ANY account paid OUTSIDE the set CREDIT TERMS will attract a penalty and any goods or equipment supplied at a discounted price will be recharged at full recommended retail price and no discount shall apply.

All jobs brought in to be repaired by other then account customers will be charged a $25 book-in fee. This price will come off the total of repairs if decided to go ahead. If you don’t want the item repaired the $25 will not be refunded as it covers the time spent inspecting your item.

WARRANTY:

The manufacturers warranty will apply to all equipment purchased. Proof of purchase will be needed for all warranty claims prior to work commencing.

Warranty covers the repair/replacement of faulty equipment, but does not cover travel, labour for removal/replacement of equipment or freight cost.

ALL warranties are to be returned to our shop (or supplier if needs be) for inspection to determine faults before ANY item will be replaced or repaired.

Warranty does not cover goods that have been tampered with or have been dismantled by anyone other then the service agent.

After hours call outs: A fee applies! This fee is not covered by any manufacturers warranty; manufacturers warranty applies during normal business hours ONLY.

CANCELLATION:

Any order placed with Max Fox Electrical and Inland Solar may only be cancelled by agreement in writing by the company/person and upon payment of a reasonable cancellation fee to cover costs incurred and or by any restocking fees and freight charges.

GOODS RETURN POLICY

Agreement to return goods/equipment for credit must be in place before the goods/equipment are returned.

Goods may be returned for credit provided that the return agreement is initiated within fourteen days of original purchase date for goods in question.

Goods mudt be in new condition, and original unmarked packaging.

Goods accepted for credits, which were ordered in will incur a restocking fee. Goods that are not saleable will not be credited. Goods must have proof of purchase and reason for return. Goods which have been made to individual requirements will NOT be credited or accepted for return.

Freight will be paid by customer except goods being returned on a dispatch error.
