SOLAR POWER
The new solar rebate scheme known as Solar Credits is based on a Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) multiplier. The Solar Credit rebate is calculated on 5 times the number of RECs the system creates up to 1.5Kw system and then 1 for 1 for every Kilowatt thereafter.10Kw is the maximum system size you can install to receive the 60 cent tariff.
We can offer the RECs as a point of sale discount.
The new sixty cent Gross Feed tarrif came into effect in January 2010 and will be in full operation from the 1st of July 2010. The 60 cent tariff is set to run for a 7 year term.
Gross Feed meters are now availble and require a level 2 Authorised contractor to change existing meters to the new metering arrangements. To get the benefit of gross feed your inverter must originate on a separate circuit or submain from the metering point.

BONUS: We pay an additional value per REC on all complete BP Solar Systems.
NOTE: Rec value changes regularly and payment value is calculated on the day the RECs are assigned.
